A Webinar is a “web seminar,” a presentation that is conducted online with a live instructor that is transmitted over the Internet in real-time. Our webinars include live voice chat from an instructor combined with a web-based platform that allows attendees to follow along with a PowerPoint slide show presentation, ask questions either verbally or in writing, and participate in a group discussion. Text chat also allows users to ask questions after the presentation has ended. Trainees have the ability to see the Instructor as well as the slide presentation. Handouts are available for each attendee. We generally recommend between 15-20 attendees per session to ensure a lively discussion.
Compliance Training Group’s online workplace training webinars are conducted in real-time making them live, actual, interactive learning experiences. The facilitator will have the ability to conduct polls and ask questions of the trainees as they go through scenarios and other interactive exercises. These are among some of the many benefits of our live online workplace training webinars.
All trainees will receive course materials prior to the webinar and will have the ability to view the facilitator’s PowerPoint slides during the presentation.
Online workplace training webinars offer convenience and are very cost-effective. No travel is required and all participants will receive a Certificate of Completion when they finish their workplace training course.
System Recommendations
We currently utilize ClickMeeting or MS Teams as our current hosting software. Our webinar platform allows users to watch videos and take quizzes and tests. Our webinars can also be recorded for replay and/or future viewing. Webinar system requirements are included below:
Prepare your Browser – We use ClickMeeting or MS Teams for our webinars and recommend the Chrome internet browser.
- Download Google Chrome for your DESKTOP or LAPTOP here: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html
- Download Google Chrome for your MOBILE device here: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/mobile/index.html
- If you use Edge, Safari, or Firefox browsers, install the latest versions of the browsers
Your Internet Connection – This technology works on almost any device that is connected via a high speed internet connection (including smart phones & tablets) but is best viewed and listened to on a device with a stable internet connection.
If you attend the webinar on a wireless connection, you may experience some buffering and pixelation issues or see fuzzy or blurry video, especially if you have other apps running at the same time.
Streaming video is very demanding on your internet connection. Try and encourage other people who are on the same connection to refrain from downloading large files or streaming video (this includes Netflix or Xbox live) during the duration of the webinar. This will greatly improve your picture and audio quality.
