The Process of Investigation: How to conduct Workplace Sexual Harassment and Discrimination Investigations

Geared toward litigation support and ensuring the best results when conducting an investigation, our training session will cover conducting workplace investigations on sexual harassment, general harassment, discrimination, abusive conduct (“bullying”) and many other workplace-related policy violations and crimes against the business.

During the course, expert workplace Investigators will review the definition of unlawful harassment, sexual harassment, and discrimination under the Federal EEOC guidelines and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The investigative principles covered include workplace harassment, sexual harassment, and discrimination. We will touch base on the types of conduct that constitute harassment, sexual harassment, and discrimination; and provide examples of what would be considered sexual harassment. From there, we would provide practical remedies and strategies to prevent sexual harassment. Employers will receive tools for establishing clear guidelines for conducting a workplace investigation, and learn how to how to obtain an oral and written declaration of facts under the penalty of perjury.
